Q: Can my course really get this marketing exposure cash free?

A: Yes. Our program is based off of results. If we fail to bring new golfers to your course it cost you nothing. Our revenue is based off of the golf certificates that we sell, so your course gets both local and national exposure for no cash.

Q: What are the benefits of signing up today?

A: Courses that have signed up for the certificate program before our public launch get added exposure through our email news announcements, press releases, and announcement marketing alliances. The earlier a course signs up, the greater the exposure over other local courses that aren't part of our program.

Q: How is a course protected from duplicated golf certificates?

A: Each of our certificates include a unique redemption number. As a golfer redeems their golf certificate at the course, our 800# verifies the certificate and adds the golfer to your courses redemption reports. These redemption numbers ensure protection against fraud and enable tracking of each certificate.

Back to questions

Q: Why is a golf certificate better than a discount coupon?

A: Golf courses have been convinced that coupons are the answer to empty tee sheets. Coupons give the impression of a discount at the course. Golfers that are using a discount coupon typically do not spend their cash on extras such as carts and pro shop items. A certificate has a value attached to it and therefore, when a golfer redeems one, they will typically spend on extras such as pro shop items. Golfers do not view certificates as discounts, like they do coupons, but rather as a form of currency to be spent on a full priced round of golf.

Back to questions

Q: How does the golf certificate program bring in additional golfers?

A: Our golf certificate program is specifically designed to bring in new golfers. Only one certificate can be redeemed per golfer, per course, per month. We are actively promoting that golfers try new courses though our certificate program.

Back to questions

Q: What are the golf certificates good towards at the course?

A: Our certificates are good for green fees only. They can not be used with any other coupons, specials, or discounts. While these restrictions are clearly called out in the certificate terms, a course can use their own discretion on the use of certificates.

Q: How does Coursecommunity.com expand our current marketing reach?

A: When your course is part of Coursecommunity.com, you are gaining both local and national exposure for your course. We have marketing alliances with national search engines, golf-specific web sites, and eBay. We are growing grass roots local campaigns through marketing alliances with tourism councils and local golf associations. We know that most courses can not market themselves everywhere, thats why its important to form partnerships with companies like Coursecommunity.com to expand their reach.

Back to questions

Q: How is my course's financial exposure limited?

A: Courses can choose to release between one to five certificates per day. While we are confident courses should release a number equal to average tee openings, we are sensitive to the needs for a course to limit exposure. Our certificate program, over a year, makes available less certificates, than one printed coupon in a local newspaper.
